How to Prepare a Custom Mold and Assembly Machine RFQ for Sprayer and Pump Projects
A strong RFQ helps engineers evaluate feasibility faster and quote with fewer assumptions. For sprayer and pump packaging projects, the most useful information is not only the product name, but also the component structure, required output, material plan, and factory conditions.
1. Share the product structure clearly
If available, send physical samples, 3D files, 2D drawings, photos, or videos showing how the product is assembled. For trigger sprayers and lotion pumps, engineers need to understand part quantity, spring or ball structure, sealing positions, actuator travel, and any inspection requirement.
2. Define the target production result
- Target output per minute or per hour.
- Expected annual production volume.
- Required machine voltage, air pressure, and plant layout.
- Manual stations that should be replaced or retained.
- Quality checks such as leak testing, pressing, torque, or visual inspection.
3. Clarify the project scope
Some buyers only need an injection mold. Others need molded components, automated assembly equipment, or a complete line that connects molding and assembly validation. Clarifying the scope early helps Songrock recommend the correct route and avoid over-building or under-planning.
4. Plan for FAT before shipment
Factory acceptance testing is the practical bridge between engineering drawings and real production. When the project includes tooling and machinery, molded parts can be tested on the assembly line to verify feeding, pressing, fitting, and final output stability.
The better the RFQ data, the faster engineers can identify the right mold, machine, and commissioning plan.
